Privacy Policy

General Incorporated Association Dreamify (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act"). The Association strives to handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy").

  1. Definition of Personal Information
In this Policy, "personal information" refers to information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, which pertains to living individuals and includes names, dates of birth, and other information that can identify a specific individual.

  2. Information Collected and Purpose of Use
The Association collects the following information in providing the Service (the sheet music support app "Fuyomi") and uses it for the following purposes:

(1) Information Collected

  • Anonymous UID (user identifier) automatically assigned via Firebase Authentication

  • Voice data recorded by users (using the microphone)

  • Images and scanned data loaded by users (using the camera)

  • Logs of playback and notification control by vibration and speaker (system usage information)

  • Usage information of flashlight activation (as an optional feature)

  • Application usage logs, access dates and times, error information (via Crashlytics, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Sheet music data imported by users (images, PDF files, etc.) and related handwritten notes and annotations (PKDrawing information)

(2) Purpose of Use

  • To provide the Service and improve user experience (e.g., sheet music reading, recording playback, rhythm display, notification vibration and light)

  • For data storage and synchronization between devices via Firebase

  • For responding to inquiries and sending notifications

  • For feature improvement and troubleshooting based on usage trends and logs

  • To safely store sheet music data registered and edited by users (images, PDFs, handwriting) and allow access and synchronization from different devices

  • To comply with laws or respond to violations of terms

  1. Method of Information Collection

  • Automatic collection via Firebase SDK (anonymous IDs, usage logs, etc.)

  • Records of user actions such as camera usage, recording, handwritten input

  • Temporary activation of device functions (microphone, camera, vibration, speaker, flashlight, etc.) as needed with user permission

  • Sheet music images and PDF files imported within the app are saved to Firebase Storage linked to the user's unique ID (Firebase UID), used for synchronization among apps and devices

  • Collection of crash and access information via Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, etc. (these hardware functions do not operate continuously in the background without explicit user permission)

  1. Security Measures

  • Access control through security rules of Firebase Auth, Firestore, and Storage

  • User-specific read/write restrictions (UID-based)

  • Separate management of local data and cloud-synchronized data

  • Regular security reviews and improvements

  1. Third-Party Provision and Outsourcing
The Association does not provide collected information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • Outsourcing necessary for cloud services such as Firebase, Google LLC, etc.

  • Cases based on laws and regulations

  • With the consent of the user
Sheet music files uploaded by users are stored and synchronized using Firebase Storage (a cloud service provided by Google LLC). The Association restricts access rights for each user based on Firebase security rules to ensure that others cannot view them. Google and Firebase are located in the United States and have confirmed adequate personal information protection measures.

  1. Use of Cookies and Analytics Tools
The Service uses the following technologies:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase (anonymous usage and error analysis)

  • Firebase Performance Monitoring
These are used solely for statistical purposes without identifying individuals.

  1. Retention and Deletion of Information
Data based on anonymous IDs automatically becomes inaccessible or is deleted by the Association within a reasonable period when users delete the app or initialize their device. User sheet music data (images, PDFs, handwritten notes, etc.) is stored on Firebase Storage and Firestore. If the user deletes the app and the anonymous UID expires, access to related sheet music data may be lost.

  2. User Rights and Correspondence
Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their data.
For such requests, please contact the inquiry window below.

  3. Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Policy may be changed without notice as necessary. Important changes will be notified within the app or on the website.
